Salsa dance events and custom classes

We can provide a number of options of cater to your requirements.
Basic dance classes:
This is a beginner session - no experience required and open to all ages. A dance partner is required.
You will learn basic steps that can be enjoyed with any salsa song. This is the casino salsa style, easy to pick up and fun to apply on the dance floor. The classes will cover a different dance step each week and by the end of class you will be able to mix and match your dance steps to create a flow of different steps and basic turns/spins.
Class structure: 1.5 hrs include 30 min review and 1 hour new material
Session length: min 3 classes required
Class size: min: 6 / max: dependant on facility
Class Fee: $250 / class (plus travel time)
Required: clothes you can move in, venue and music system that plays MP3
Dance Party Package
Not sure what to do for your next reunion or event? Heat it up with a Latin Dance theme.
NOTE: after the lesson is done party goers can choose to stay in a partner dance OR just dance to the tunes per any dance party (single, group etc)
Included:
1.5 hour instruction to learn a basic step and turn
2 hours basic salsa music and instructor assistance
2 hours music and dance
The music can vary from basic latin styles and have a lively but not overwhelming volume and beat.
Playlists can be varied to include faster "club" style songs sure to get the crowd moving.
We can discuss playlists based on your demographic.
Customizations to package are available.
Cost: $800 + travel
Included: 2 instructors, music, CDs for attendees including video of steps and music "instructor assistance" instructors will mingle with crowd continuing instruction, providing demonstrations for entire session

Ory instructs Cuban Salsa Dance Classes at Level 1 and beyond.
Ory moved to the Kootenays from Cuba and has brought with him a wealth of dance styles and enthusiasm to share this great dance style. Classes can be customized and students will be guaranteed to learn the flow of the dance sequence and have fun throughout.
***NOTE: Both Zumba and salsa classes require a large venue with uncarpeted floor and music system compatible with MP3 player.
